Assignment 1

Learning music is always fun and provides a great outlet to let creativity roam free. Using the Learning Music feature with Ableton live was a very cool and interactive experience. These lessons took me through the processes of making beats. I was surprised about how knowledge I knew but it only made sense because I usually make beats on Fruity Loops. There was so many valuable information I learned by listening to songs that used synths. I has definitely made me want to listen to some older music so that I can catch on to the brilliant chord and beat patterns.

Within each section it was a cool experience because I could combine what I already knew with new knowledge that has become more specialized. There are a lot of beat and chord themes that I never though about that could be linked to different genres of music. Nevertheless I left the lessons more inspired to create more music. As stated before, I also left inspired to listen to more music so that I could incorporate it in the music that I create now.
