Why Music?

The reason I do music is because I believe that music changes the world. As a musician, I believe that is is a responsibility to inspire those through the art that we create. For me, 'making it' in regards to music is becoming a well respected vocalist and artist in the RnB/PoP world. Personally, I love the vocal and performance side of music. One of my goals is to be able to sell out a small venue and see how much I can grow from then. This is simply because I understand that the path to success in music business is not a sprint. The path to success in music business is definitely a marathon and I need to be mindful of that. I truly feel rewarded when an audience is connected and engaged in a song that I am singing. As a vocalist, I recognize the power and humility that the human voice carries through music. After all, aren't power and humility things that can change the world?
