Locating Fans! Locating Fans!

Locating fans is one fo the most important things I can do as an artist. I wan't to be able to locate where my fans are so that I can get a sense of their surroundings and where I could perform to cater to them. But first and foremost, I need to find artist that I sound like or am similar to. Solidifying this will help me gain new fans by assimilating me to someone they are already familiar with.

The next step to finding more fans is looking geographically. I can use data analysis on Instagram to find out where my current fans live, but I can also use Facebook to create ads to target a potential demographic of fans.

At the moment, my current fans are located in Bakersfield (19%), Bacolod City (15%), Hong Kong (6.9%), Talisay Negros Occidental (2.4), and Enrique B. Magalona, Negros Occidental (2.3%).

Where I want to grow geographically is in the United States and the United Kingdom. In terms of Facebook and Instagram ads, I want to target people/teenagers around my age who love R&B music. I want to specifically target those who love vocals and the human voice along with entertainment. The age demographic that I'm going for are those who were born in the 2000s and share the same experiences as me growing up. This means that I'll need to target those who were born from around 2000-2005ish. In terms of locations, I want to reach music cities along with local cities in my region. Although Bakersfield is known for Country Music, there is quite a good amount of R&B artist and vocalists who have the same passion and visions that I have.

Some of the locations that I think would do well for outreach, in my regional position, would be Bakersfield, L.A., Fresno, Santa Barbara, San Fransisco, San Diego, Sacramento, Oakland, San Jose, San Bernardino, Riverside, Long Beach, Modesto, Pasadena, and Anaheim. This way I can target a regional audience that eventually spread. I still need to do more research and networking with some of the organizations that I have contact with who live in the UK. Other than that, I am so ready to grow!
