Conquering the Internet!

The internet and social media is such a big and powerful tool that can help build the career of artists and content creators. Social media is known to connect current and potential fans/followers to artists. After all, that is how Justin Bieber notoriously got his start in the music industry. Today there are various media outlets that are easily recognizable to my generation. Outlets such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and especially Tik Tok are currently some of the main platforms that content creators and artists use today. Of course there many artists that I follow and I think that it would be a great idea to study them so that I can learn how they built up their success.

At the moment, the field of social media that I am most prominent on is Instagram. this is because I understand that Instagram seems to be the hub when it comes involvement in people's lives. I completely understand that not all fans are followers and not all followers are fans. I plan on using Instagram and Facebook ads to look into the location of potential fans. I'm also thinking about expanding to Tik Tok. I was a little hesitant at first because I didn't know if the app was going to get banned. But since it's still standing, it would be a wonderful place to expand and connect with others from my generation.
