Colleges are a great way to make money if you are a musician. I see it as an opportunity to practice working with live audiences. However, I also see the logic in what Ari Herstand says in his book "How to Make It in the New Music Business" about your career. Ari basically says that colleges are a great way to make money, but not a great way to advance your career. It perfectly makes sense because college students would be more willing to show up to a free event rather than one they would have to pay for. Down below is a graph of the colleges that I could play for.

All in all, these are just some of the colleges that I could think of. I think in the near future I will definitely get into college performing because of the financial benefits. Although it is expensive to start and I will need to get an agent to help, I know that it is possible.
