'Where Are You Now?' is a song about having a crush that you see regularly, but don't often engage with. However, in this scenario, your crush didn't show up today and you wonder 'Where Are You Now?'
For this song, I followed the song structure of 'Sweet Dreams' by Beyoncé because I like how it flows. 'Sweet Dreams' is an uptempo song with great vocals and I thought it would be nice to have a song like that in my catalog.
Incorporating elements from 34 Point Song Checklist ended up being quite easy if you work hard. It was definitely a work in progress being I had to make an effort to ensure that my lyrics had quality, especially when it came to verse 2. But the best part for me was the production because I had a lot of room to experiment with the Pop sound.
