This website on the inner working of MIDI's was very intriguing. It was cool to see the history of analog instruments that were similar yet couldn't communicate. Considering how complex MIDI can be, it was definitely ahead of its time. I had no idea that there were MIDI's dedicated to drums. I may have to invest in one for whenever I just need to lay down a basic percussion pattern.

Another section that was really cool to learn from was how MIDI's communicate. Seeing the commands was confusing at first, but it fascinated me how straightforward the commands were. The other section that intrigued me was the topology section. It was interesting to see how different MIDI setups exist. One that I'm very familiar with is using a MIDI with my computer. I use this especially with my DAW (FL Studio) to hash out ideas and create tracks that sound more humanlike.
