Learning Synths

I have experienced this website a couple of years ago, but doing it again was a lot better since I understand more about sound. I've taken notice of the amount of samples in my DAW that are actually synths. It was really cool to see the breakdown of how different sounds are made via synths. I never quite realized how much modulation comes into play with the timbre along with Low-Pass and High-Pass filtering.

One of my favorite parts about this website was the envelope. Envelopes are so important in synths, but I noticed that my DAW lets me use envelopes on audio samples. Envelopes have come in handy so much and this website guided me on how to be more efficient with them. I like how different sounds can be manipulated with an envelope such as plucking or drumming.
